BRC accountants are a firm of Chartered Accountants with 14 staff who provide clients with the full range of accounting and tax services, including accounts preparation, management accounting, auditing, VAT compliance, forecasting and budgeting, corporate and personal tax services, and any other ad hoc advice and assistance on accounting and tax matters.


We are looking for an energetic and accurate person to join our busy team on a part time basis processing payroll for our clients. On average this is around 40 hours per month, but can be coupled with the other role we have available below to make either a part time or full time role. Audit/accounts senior

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced practice accountant to take on a varied role that includes the following:

  • Undertaking accounts, audit and tax work for companies, partnerships, sole traders and tax clients
  • Being first point of contact for clients to assist with a variety of questions on tax, accounts and bookkeeping issues, and maintaining good client relationships
  • Assisting other staff, reviewing their work and helping them to progress

The candidate will have:

  • Self motivation
  • An ability to manage themselves and others
  • Good audit experience
  • Experience with Xero and Sage
  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A commercial mind
  • An enthusiasm to embrace technological changes

The firm will offer support with:

  • Assistance from directors and qualified staff with all aspects of work

Desirable qualities are:

  • A formal accountancy qualification
  • Experience of Digita products
  • A good track record of training staff

The role could be part time or full time and assistance with training towards a relevant qualification would be considered. Salary will be based on the experience of the candidate.
